I am a US NAVY vet from USNAS Sigonella Sicily and lived in Sicily off an on for 32 years. I am doing a Documentary on the battle for Primosole Bridge. BTW Fontana bianche and Cassibili are both amazing . Cassibilli has a section of the western main drag retained completely as it was in 1943. IT has been used for several movie sets. Notto also is quite old. Hope to see you all there !

Colin Dude you are everywhere ! I definitley will see you there. Remember July 13 Primosole Bridge ! btw ladies of ill repute are now living in the pillbox at Commando 3 bridge ( ponte malati) it is sad.

Hi,
My wife and I are interested in participating. We would really like to take part in the ceremony at the war cemetery as my uncle is buried there and I would be the only family member to have ever visited Sicily to see his grave. His immediate family is no longer with us and I would like to honor him by standing at his grave during the ceremony.

I have been researching Operation Husky for the last 9 years and paid 4 visits to Sicily and a number of visits to Canada. I have retraced the route of the Canadian 1st Div from Pachino to Agira and visited the Canadian Military Cemetery at Agira twice where I laid remembrance items for the family of a fallen soldier there. I have also visited Chek News on Vancouver Island in an attempt to interest them in the importance of the year 2013!
I would be very interested in visiting Agira in July 2013.
